If you have a monthly parking account but are seeing a daily rate charge, one of the following situations likely applies.
The vehicle you drove is not registered to your monthly account
Your monthly account is linked to specific license plates. If you drove a vehicle whose plate is not registered under your monthly account, AirGarage's enforcement system will not recognize your vehicle as a monthly parker, and you may be charged the daily rate or auto-started.
What to do:
- Log in to your account at pay.airgarage.com/rentals.
- Check the license plates registered under your monthly rental.
- If the vehicle you drove is not listed, you will need to add it or update your plate. See "I need to update/edit/change my license plate number on an existing rental" for instructions.
- Contact our support team about the charge — if this is the cause, we can typically correct it.
Your monthly billing failed and your account was suspended
If your payment method on file expired or a charge failed, your monthly account may have been temporarily suspended. During a suspension, your vehicle is not covered and parking charges will apply.
What to do:
- Log in to pay.airgarage.com/rentalspay.airgarage.com/rentals and check for any billing errors or failed payment notices.
- Update your payment method if it has expired. See the "I need to update or change my payment method" article for instructions.
- Contact our support team once your billing is corrected — they can review whether the daily charges were related to the suspension.
You parked at a location not covered by your monthly account
Monthly accounts are location-specific. If you parked at a different AirGarage facility than the one your monthly account covers, you will be charged the standard rate for that facility.
What to do:
If you regularly need to park at multiple locations, contact our support team to discuss your options.
Something else happened
If none of the above applies and you're confident you were at the correct location in a registered vehicle, contact our support team with:
- Your license plate number and state
- The email address on your monthly account
- The date, time, and location of the charge
- A screenshot of the charge if available
