AirGarage sessions are based on calendar days, not a rolling 24-hour period. This means all hourly, flat-rate, and single-day sessions automatically end overnight, regardless of when you started them.
What time does my session auto-end?
Most sessions automatically ends at midnight local time. For example, if you started a session at 2 PM, it will auto-end at midnight — giving you 10 hours before the session closes, not a full 24 hours from when you started.
The exception to this policy is if you start your session late at night and have not yet hit the daily max at midnight. For example, if you start a session at 10 PM and the session is $5/hr with a daily max of $20, you will have only paid $10 at midnight and not yet reached the daily max. In this case your session will continue until 6am local time.
Am I charged for the full day when my session auto-ends?
No. Your charge is based on the actual time your session ran, from when you started to when it ended (either manually by you, or automatically at midnight). You are not automatically charged for a full day just because the session auto-ended.
For example: if you started a session at 11 AM and your session auto-ended at midnight, you would be charged for 13 hours — not a full 24 hours.
I want to park overnight — what do I do?
Overnight parking across calendar days requires either a multi-day session or a new session started each day.
- To check if the location offers multi-day parking: scan the QR code at the facility and look for a "multi-day" or "overnight" option on the payment screen.
- If multi-day is available, select it and choose your start and end dates. See "Can I pay to park for multiple days?" for detailed instructions.

If multi-day is not available at that location, you will need to start a new session each calendar day your vehicle remains at the facility.
I left before midnight but my session still auto-ended — am I charged correctly?
If you left the facility before midnight but forgot to end your session manually, your session ran from when you started until midnight, and you were charged for all of that time — including time after you left.

My vehicle is parked overnight and I need to start a new session
If your vehicle is staying overnight and your session just auto-ended at midnight, you will need to start a new session for the next day. You can do this from anywhere:
- Visit pay.airgarage.com/rentals or open the AirGarage app.
- Start a new session for the same location.
- Your vehicle's overnight presence is not automatically covered — the new session must be started.
