AirGarage charges you for the exact amount of time you park. If you forgot to press "End Rental" when you left, your session continues running until you reach the daily max rate, and you will be charged for that additional time.
Why didn't the session stop automatically when I left?
AirGarage sessions do not automatically detect when you leave. You must manually end your session using the link in your confirmation text message or by visiting pay.airgarage.com/rentals and clicking your active rental.
All sessions automatically end overnight, but any time between when you left and when you reached the daily max rate will be included in your charge.
There is a one-hour minimum charge
All AirGarage rentals have a one-hour minimum. This means even if you parked for less than an hour, you are charged for a full hour. If you parked for longer, you are charged for the actual time used - prorated to the minute at most locations.
How to submit a request for a partial refund
Via the Help Center:
- Go to the AirGarage Help Center.
- Submit a support request with the following information:
- Your license plate number and state
- The phone number or email address you used to start the rental
- The location where you parked
- The date of your parking session
- Your best estimate of when you actually left the facility
Refund eligibility
Our team reviews each request individually. When evaluating a request, we consider factors including your parking history with AirGarage, how long after your actual departure the session ran, and the circumstances of the situation.
- Customers who have not previously requested a forgotten-rental refund are typically eligible for a partial refund.
- Repeat requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may not be approved.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
How long does processing take?
Our team typically reviews requests within 1-2 business days. Refunds are issued immediately when granted, but can take 3-5 business days to appear on your statement after approval depending on your bank.
