If you're having trouble completing payment, work through the sections below based on your situation.
No cell service or the payment page won't load
Underground parking garages and some enclosed structures can have poor or no cell service. If the payment page isn't loading:
- Connect to a WiFi network if one is available.
- Move to an area with better signal — sometimes near the entrance or stairwell helps.
- Try switching between cellular data and WiFi if your phone allows it.
- Try opening the payment link in a different browser (Safari, Chrome, etc.).
Important: If you genuinely cannot pay right now, do not leave your vehicle unattended. Take a photo of your car in the space and a photo of the parking signs, with the timestamp visible. Then submit a support request from the AirGarage Help Center immediately — this documentation significantly helps with any dispute later.
Apple Pay or Google Pay isn't working
If your digital wallet payment isn't going through:
- Make sure your device has a working internet connection before attempting Apple Pay.
- Check that your card on file in Apple Pay / Google Pay is not expired.
- Try entering your card number manually instead of using the wallet.
- If Apple/Google Pay shows a checkmark but the page doesn't advance, your payment may not have completed. Do not close the page — scroll down to see if there is a "Start Rental" button still waiting to be pressed.
My card was declined
- Check that you entered the card number, expiration date, and CVC correctly.
- AirGarage does not accept prepaid cards or gift cards. If you are using a prepaid card, your payment will fail. Please use a debit or credit card instead.
- If your card is valid but still declining, try a different card.

If you are seeing an "insufficient funds" message, please add funds to your account or use a different card to complete payment.
The page keeps showing an error
If you're encountering an error message that prevents you from completing payment, note the error message text and submit a support request from the Help Center home page. Include:
- The error message you see (a screenshot is ideal)
- The browser or device you're using
- The location where you're trying to park

The date and time
I can't pay right now and need to leave
If you absolutely cannot complete payment and must leave, take these steps immediately:
- Photograph your vehicle in the parking space with the date and time visible.
- Photograph the AirGarage signs at the facility.
- Submit a support request from the Help Center as soon as you have internet access. Explain that you attempted to pay, what prevented it, and provide the photos.
Note: Submitting this documentation before you receive a violation gives our team the best chance of resolving any subsequent violation in your favor. The sooner you contact us, the better.
